Gold Coast Music Industry Mingle: Creating Safe Spaces

Join us as we discuss the topic of the moment: Creating safe spaces within the music and events industry.

The last few years have seen a massive global shakeup, particularly in the music industry, and Australia has seen its fair share of forward movement. However, the job is far from done. We will hear from music industry professionals, movers and shakers, and artists, all of whom will share their unique perspectives on the issue of creating safety for all members of the industry, from looking at the problem as it currently stands, to what action needs to be taken for our future.

Soak up the beach side atmosphere at the Bleach Festival North Burleigh hub and enjoy live music performed by Amela from 4.30pm (and again at 7pm), followed by a facilitated panel discussion led by Blank Street Press and Nevertheless Editor Natalie O’Driscoll and featuring Jacquie Grinzi of QMusic and Concert Care, performing artist Joshua Bell (Saint Barae) plus more guests to be announced.

Open to all, this is an opportunity to network with people working in the Gold Coast music industry and learn about how the arts industry is working to create inclusive spaces for everyone.
