Get acquainted with the artists lighting up the stage next month:

 JACK RIVER

ARIA-Award winning artist and Undertone Festival headliner Jack River will close out the night with an hour-long set! Known for her atmospheric alt-indie sound, heartfelt lyrics and dreamy vibes, Jack River will captivate the crowd with hits like Fool’s Gold and Palo Alto, as well as tunes from her latest release, Endless Summer. Jack River is not only a musical force but also an advocate for inclusivity and environmental change, making her a fitting headliner for this groundbreaking event.

 MONTAIGNE

Since first emerging in 2012, Montaigne has established themselves as one of Australia’s most dynamic performers, a natural storyteller and entertainer that has captured attention across the world. Montaigne brings a mix of introspective lyrics and powerful vocals to Undertone, offering a performance that’s as poetic as it is electrifying. Known for pushing musical boundaries, Montaigne’s return to the Gold Coast (their first public performance since the Bleach* Festival 2019) promises to be a memorable one.

 HOPE D

Hope D has been blessing listeners’ ears for more than 5 years now with her signature alt pop-rock sound. Known for her bold storytelling and dynamic live shows, Brisbane’s Hope D is sure to bring a perfect blend of pop and rock to the stage that will have you singing along and feeling every word. With gritty lyrics and infectious energy, Hope D is a must-see.

 HUSSY HICKS

Award-winning duo Leesa and Julz from the Hussy Hicks will get the crowd moving with their unique blend of folk, blues, country, and roots. Fresh off the plane from their tour of Germany, and ready to show the Gold Coast exactly why they took out the 2024 Gold Coast Music Award ‘Live Act of the Year’ award, the Hussy Hicks are guaranteed to deliver a memorable performance that has to be seen to be believed.

 TANIA DOKO

Beloved Australian popstar Tania Doko, lead singer of the iconic 90s band Bachelor Girl, is ready to hit the stage to host the first ever Undertone Festival – and she’ll be treating us to a solo set! Performing songs from her recently released album The Beauty’s in the Broken, get ready to dance along to Tania’s original tunes as well as some Bachelor Girl favourites. We want to see you belt out Buses and Trains!

 ANNIE HAMILTON

Known for her dreamy and compelling indie-rock/pop sound, Annie Hamilton is heading to the Gold Coast as part of her Australian tour for new release ‘Stop and Smell The Lightning’, set to drop on November 1. Annie will be treating the crowd to fan-favourites like exist, panic, and seven stories up, as well as jumping on stage later in the night as the drummer in Jack River’s band. Annie Hamilton = a woman of many talents.

 ELEEA

ELEEA is an award-winning singer and songwriter with autobiographical lyrics, lingering guitar and emotive voice. Representing the incredible local talent from right here on the Gold Coast, ELEEA is an avid traveller, describing herself as a ‘semi-permanent wanderer’. Often backpacking around the world, and having travelled to more than 45 countries, her lyrics are filled with deeply personal experiences from around the globe.

 TOMORROW’S FORECAST

Kicking off Undertone Festival with the first set of the day is Tomorrow’s Forecast – an up-and-coming band hailing from the Gold Coast. Fronted by Bonnie and Olive, Tomorrow’s Forecast brings immersive mid-2000s indie rock nostalgia, combining fresh lyricism with deep perspective.

Stay tuned for set times, coming soon!
